Discipleship is relational, starting with a vital connection to Jesus Christ. (Col. 2:6) We are to repent of sin and turn to new life in Christ. (II Cor. 5:17) As we put our trust in Him, His promised Holy Spirit continues to transform us more and more into the image of God. We experience God’s faithfulness and mercies new every morning. (Lam.. 3:23) As we grow more and more in the way of discipleship, our heart becomes the heart of Christ reaching out to disciple others, leading them into a new and vital relationship with Jesus Christ.
