Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborer are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”– Matthew 9:36-38
Today people still have deep spiritual needs and long for greater meaning in their lives. Jesus saw the people’s needs and had compassion on all the people around Him. He saw them as a sheep without a Shepherd. As intentional disciples we are called to live and lead the way of love through every part of our lives to all the people around us. Then those in our sphere of influence will be convinced of their need for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
