“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.” (2 Corinthians 5: 16-21)
With Spring comes new life! Everything is being made new! But the greatest transformation is to be made new in Christ! The old way of thinking and living is gone…and the gift of real living in Christ has begun! Now our lives reflect the transforming love of God to be shared with others. It is humbling and amazing all at the same time; to experience God’s offer of new life in Christ, breaking the power of sin in our lives, and setting us free to be God’s agents of love and forgiveness in a hurting world.
