Summary: The Lord’s Prayer teaches us many things, but it mostly shows us how to pray. He gives us words to use, he shows us that prayer isn’t about the number of words we use, and he instructs us to pray boldly and without shame. He illustrates this last point in The Parable of the Pushy Friend.
