Happy the Home when God is there! Intentional discipleship begins at home. Intentional meaning being aware, focused, purposed to growing in our relationship with God. Discipleship starts in our own heart; then blossoms from there as to how we encourage our spouse and our children to grow in faith. A prayer for our families: “Lord God, you have created each of us so uniquely—and yet in Your image. Guide us as parents in our love for our children; sensitive to their unique way of learning, communicating in love, exploring and developing their abilities, leading them by example. May the Holy Spirit reside in us that our children may embrace this new school year with peace, joy and wonder. May they become the beautiful creation that You intend for them; the promise to be anything God wants them to be”. Amen.
