How do we measure growing in discipleship? December 2019 provides an opportunity to consider how we are growing in our discipleship. One way is to revisit our membership vows and ask ourselves how much have we grown in our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service and our witness over the past year? These acts are ways of loving God and His church back. He has given us everything we need to grow in godliness. (II Peter 1:3). Let’s ask God to spur us on to greater things as we seek to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
