As we begin 2020, it presents an opportunity to consider where we are as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I can’t think of a better place to start than to look to the Master who “patterned” a life of discipleship for His followers. Luke 6:40 says …everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.”
Do they see Jesus in my words and works? How is my “pattern” as a disciple of Jesus fashioning those around me? Each of us must consider carefully “the pattern” we exhibit before a watching world. If we want others to grow as disciples of Jesus, then we must be growing closer to the Master everyday, earnestly seeking Him and His way!
