Have you ever thought of yourself as a student under the direction and tutelage of the Holy Spirit? Through our relationship with Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within teaching us (discipling us) with the mind of Christ. The Apostle Paul said, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 2:5) The Holy Spirit is at work remaking us, conforming us to the image of God that He intended for us from the very beginning. As we yield our lives to the Word and Spirit, we are being discipled with the mind of Christ. We are being made new in Christ Jesus. (II Corinthians 5:17)
As we continue to be molded and filled by the Holy Spirit of the living God, our lives become vessels poured out for others to know and experience all the fullness God has for them. We are being discipled in order to disciple others. What a gift and privilege is ours? Let us not waste a moment of precious time that God desires to work “in” us and “through”us today!
