1 Corinthians 1: 3-9
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way–in all your speaking and in all your knowledge–because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly await for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so you will be blameless on the day our of Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
A Thought
God’s word of truth was so alive when Paul wrote this encouraging letter to the church at Corinth. Because they had received the message of grace and fellowship with Christ Jesus, they received spiritual gifts to keep them strong and blameless until the day of the Lord when Christ will return. This same message is still alive within us today if we will receive the grace and fellowship of Christ. Christ has provided all that we need to be faithful, strong and blameless as we watch for Him to return on the day of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord! Be ready! Watch and pray!
Our Prayer
Father thank you for your Son Jesus the Christ that leads us to all truth about you and ourselves. We desire to be faithful in fellowship with you, to be strong to the end and blameless as we witness our testimony of Christ to others. We ask for your Spirit to be at work in us as we eagerly await for the day of the Lord. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
