Isaiah 61: 8-11
“For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”
A Thought
God is faithful to reward those who live honest, righteous lives for him. God has made a covenant to us through his righteous Son, Jesus Christ. Our descendants who receive this covenant of Christ will also be viewed as people the Lord has blessed. Our greatest blessing will be when we are fully restored to be like Christ the righteous one filled with the love of God.
Our Prayer
Father you are faithful, righteous and filled with justice. Thank you that we, along with our descendants, can be restored and blessed to be faithful, righteous and filled with your love for justice to all mankind. When people see us as happy and blessed, give us the opportunity to share our testimony of your love for them and for us. Awaken us to prepare the way of the Lord! We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
