Romans 16: 25-27
Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him–to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
A Thought
Paul in his letter to the Romans gives a reminder that there is no favoritism with God that all people, Jew and Gentile, must receive the mystery of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is now revealed. The prophetic writings by the command of God was given to prophets such as Isaiah over 700 years earlier that all nations might believe and obey the only wise God forever through his Son, Jesus the Christ. Glory to his name forever and ever! Amen!
Our Prayer
Father thank you for revealing the good news to all people by your love and grace in Jesus the Christ. Help us to receive your word of truth that we will not be ignorant of the salvation you have freely given to all people. We desire to receive your righteousness by faith to live godly lives looking for the great day of the Lord’s return. Fill us with the wisdom and power of your Holy Spirit to be in relationship with you and with others. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
