Ephesians 4: 1-6
As a prisoner for the Lord, then I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
There is one body, one Spirit–just as you were called to one hope when you were called–one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
A Thought
We are reminded as the church to live our lives in unity one with one another in love and in peace. We are all part of the one body of Christ. There is only one Lord, one baptism, one Spirit, one God who is Father over all and through all and in all making us one body together. Let us all be humble and gentle working together as God has called each of us for his glory.
Our Prayer
Father thank you for our baptism into your Holy Spirit made possible by faith in your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ with forgiveness of sin, to bring us back in relationship with you our Father. Thank you for equipping each of us to live our lives worthy of the calling you have given us to be the one body of Christ–your church working together. We desire to produce fruit for your kingdom in Jesus’ name, amen.
