As disciples of Jesus Christ, we have been given our mission….first and foremost is to make disciples (Matthew 28:1-20) Jesus has demonstrated the way of disciple-making and is the ultimate disciple-maker. Paul and Timothy’s relationship was one of disciple-making. In Philippians 2:22-24 we read, “But you know that Timothy has proved himself, because as a son with his father he has served with me in the work of the Gospel. I hope, therefore to send him as soon as I see how things go with me.” Who might God be leading you to disciple, that will inturn disciple others. Oh, come Holy Spirit and make us disciple makers for your kingdom’s sake. Amen.
