Acts 2: 14-21

Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd:  “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you, listen carefully to what I say. These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

” ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

A Thought

Peter stood up! The Eleven stood with him! Peter spoke! It is now our turn to stand up with the Church and speak. We are living in the last days! Sons and daughters have received prophetic words, young men have received visions, old men have had dreams, God’s Spirit entered us when we truly repented of our sins and now we are the righteousness of Christ. We can look in the sky and see the wonders of heaven. In resent years we have seen volcanic eruptions with hot lava, fire and billows of smoke. We have seen a total eclipse of the sun when the earth was dark as night. Our next Blood Moon will take place May 26th this month when the moon turns red as it slowly drifts through the earth’s shadow in space causing a total lunar eclipse. Yes, the glorious day of the Lord is coming. Are you ready? All can be saved if they call on the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our Prayer

Father thank you for your Spirit that leads us to your Son that leads us to you. Open the eyes of our heart that we will be Christ to the world filled with your love in unity with your word. We want to bear fruit and make disciples for your kingdom. We ask for your Spirit of Pentecost to fill the world with the power to find their hope in you. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
