Ephesians 2: 19-22
Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
A Thought
By all peoples being brought to God our Father through Christ Jesus we are now one body of believers built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ himself being the chief foundation bringing all believers together as the Church, a temple where God lives within us by his Spirit.
Our Prayer
Father thank you for providing your perfect plan through Christ’s blood for all people to live in unity with you and each other by your Spirit. We desire to be your holy temple having your Spirit live within us that we may receive your wisdom and knowledge that we may know you better and provide your grace and truth to others. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
