James 2: 14-17

What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds?  Can such faith save him?  Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I  wish you well; keep warm and well fed, but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accomplished by action, is dead.

A Thought

It is not enought to say that we believe in God. We must use our faith to grow to become like God. We must use faith in action to help others to encounter God. In the same way if there is no life in the body it is dead, so if faith is not at work it is dead. Remember our faith will grow as we use what faith we have.

Our Prayer

Father help us to work for the physical and spiritual needs of others. Help all who read this to have faith to believe in you and accept what your son accomplished for each of us. Help each to grow in faith to be disciples and to help make disciples for you in Jesus’ name we ask, ame
