Psalm 34: 19-22
A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. The Lord redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
A Thought
Yesterday, we read about the trails of a righteous man, Job. Although he lost many things, God multiplied his blessings afterward. Today, we are reminded that God will deliver us from all our troubles. Evil will overcome all the wicked who are against us and they will be condemned. God does not condemn his servants, but we have shelter from all trouble and harm.
Our Prayer
Thank you God that you permit the trials of this life to draw us to you in safety. Trials help build good character. Thank you for preparing us to live for eternity in heaven with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
