Psalm 25: 8-11
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your name, O Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
A Thought
There are many ways that we as sinners can try to be a better person; but our hope must be in the Creator who designed and gave life to each of us. The only way to find the help we need is to be in a humble relationship with our heavenly Father. This is made possible by the blood covenant of his son Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, God will guide us in a loving and faithful way. He will teach us how to follow his commands. We are commanded to love God and to love others.
Our Prayer
Father, we desire to follow your teachings in what is good and right; we want to be like you. We want to be loving and faithful to you and others. Thank you for being good and upright. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
