Isaiah 12: 2-6
“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. In that day you will say: “Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
A Thought
There are many prophecies of the Old Testament that have not been fulfilled; this passage and also the one from yesterday are two examples of such prophecies that are concerning the same time period. Jesus Christ will return with his raptured saints to conquer the antichrist and set up his kingdom. Then the whole earth will trust and praise the Lord for ever.
Our Prayer
Father thank you that you are our salvation; we give you thanks for joy and a song in our hearts. Help us to shout aloud and proclaim your great love to all the earth now and forever. in Jesus’ name. Amen.
