Psalm 16: 7-11
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
A Thought
God has made all things possible to all who will believe. He will counsel, instruct, ever be at our right hand, never to be abandoned and has given us the path to eternal life through his son Jesus the Christ. Now, won’t you believe and receive the joy of Christmas! Be in the presence of the Holy One. Praise the Lord forever!
Our Prayer
Father thank you for forgiveness, hope, love, joy, and peace made possible through the gift of your son Jesus Christ. Fill us with your Spirit to overflowing. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
