2 Corinthians 4: 3-6
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
A Thought
The god of this world has blinded the eyes of the unbeliever. They are perishing and do not see the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We must not preach anything accept Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as the servants of Christ. When we receive the light of Christ and come to the knowledge of the truth, we must use his light in our lives to reflect God’s glory to bring others out of darkness into this marvelous light that fills us with hope and sets us free.
Our Prayer
Father help us to be servants of Christ filled with your glory. We desire to be your ministers of the ‘good news’ to others. We desire to be your disciples and to make disciples for you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
