Isaiah 55: 6-9
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
A Thought
We are all guilty of evil and sin. When you know that you need help and forgiveness, come, seek the Lord while he is near and speaking to your heart. God will forgive when we ask. The Bible, God’s love letter to each of us, will lead us to repentance, show us how to leave the wicked thoughts and actions behind. God’s thoughts and ways are filled with love and mercy.
Our Prayer
Father we all need your mercy and forgiveness. Help us to read you word and come to you each day in prayer. We desire to be filled with love for you and each other. Help your thoughts to be our thoughts and your ways to be our ways. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
