2 Thessalonians 1: 2-4
Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus the Christ.
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is growing. Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trails you are enduring.
A Thought
Our church family should be banded together in love just like our own natural family. God has designed his church to grow together in love, faith, and perseverance so that we can encourage each other as we endure the persecutions and trails of our every day life. We are to live a godly life in a world that is filled with sins of every nature. The church should be recognized as Christians because of our love for God and each other. Are we growing in love and faith?
Our Prayer
Father thank you for our local church body. We desire to grow in your love and faith in your word together. Awaken us to the power of your Holy Spirit that we may be your witness of love and grace to a lost and dying world all around us. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
