Psalm 15

Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill?

He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the Lord, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.

He who does these things will never be shaken.

A Thought

Here we learn how to dwell with God. We must be blameless doing what is right–speak only the truth without slander toward our fellowman, do others no wrong, despise the actions of those with no moral values but honor those who honor God, keep our oaths to God and man (even when it costs us something), be willing to lend without reward, and we are to stand for the innocent. When we walk with God, we will treat others in righteousness.

Our Prayer

Father help us to reflect to others our right relationship with you by the way we treat them in love and mercy. We desire to walk with you in your righteousness daily that our faith will never be shaken. We ask in Jesus’ name to develop our character to reflect your righteousness, amen.
