Psalm 95
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord, our maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.
Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert, where your fathers tested and tried me, though they had seen what I did. For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.” So I declared on oath in my angry. “They shall never enter my rest.”
A Thought
Whatever ways one may choose to worship God is however their heart directs them; whether in joyful song, a loud shout, with instruments of praise, in dance, or in quietness in ones soul, The main thing is to bow down in worship to our great God, the great King of all gods, the maker of all the heavens and the earth and our maker that cares for us. Never let your heart be harden by not listening and obeying the voice of God. God alone is worthy of all praise. Thanks be to God. Start every day in worship and praise of our God…………”Hallelujah, Hallelujah, sing Hallelujah.”
Our Prayer
Father we bow down before you in surrender and submission to your word with praise in our hearts and a song on our lips. Thank you for the privilege of being the people of your pasture, the flock under your care. We rejoice in you by the power of your Spirit in Jesus’ name, amen.
