Psalm 13

How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy trumph over me?

Look on me and answer, O Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death; my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me.

A Thought

Today I received a call concerning a very young girl in whom we have been praying for her healing from a brain tumor for well over a year. After the tumor being successfully removed, she had to undergo many treatments to help prevent the cancer’s return. She has been given good reports; she has fought many setbacks. Throughout it all good and bad, she has been a true witness for her Savior Jesus the Christ with a beautiful smile on her face; she has put her trust in God’s unfailing love. The Lord has been good to her; he has provided her salvation and her healing, whether it will come in this life or in life eternal with God, we will trust Him to decide.

Our Prayer

Father thank you that you have given your light to this young girl’s eyes to be able to see your gift of love, salvation and healing. We place our faith and trust in you for his young girl, all of her family and loved ones because death has no hold on them; they have received your salvation through your righteous Son. We ask for your healing, strength and mercy, in the name of Jesus the Christ, amen.
