Romans 8: 26-30

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches the heart knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the Saints in accordance with God’s will.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the first born among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

A Thought

There are three parts to God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father loves us so much that before we were born to our parents, God sent his Son to make our redemption possible to all who will believe. After Jesus was resurrected back to God the Father, the Holy Spirit was sent to earth to search our hearts, to intercede on our behalf, to call us to repentance in Christ, and to help us in our weakness to become more like Christ. We are now justified in Christ and it is our obligation to follow the Spirit that we may be conformed to the will of God that we may bring glory to God.

Our Prayer

Father thank you for calling each of us to repentance through Jesus Christ and for your Holy Spirit that now lives within us teaching us to become your children. Thank you for your Spirit makes intercession on our behalf enabling us to live in accordance to your will. We desire to be your disciple and to make disciples for you kingdom. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
