Psalm 100
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
A Thought
The gift of music with song is a beautiful gift given to each of us to worship our God as he places joy in our hearts. The Psalms are poems written to be sung with music. This Psalm is an excellent one to sing with joy as we work throughout the day with our mind on our God who is worthy to be praised.
Our Prayer
Father you have commanded for us to shout for joy as we sing praises to you. Thank you for making us to be the sheep of your pasture. We desire to enter your gates, redeemed by your Son filled with  thanksgiving and praise for your love and faithfulness that endures to all generations. We ask that  faithfulness fill our hearts with your joy as we sing and worship you. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
