Psalm 106: 1-6
Praise the Lord.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise? Blessed are they who maintain justice, who constantly do what is right. Remember me, O Lord, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them, that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise.
We have sinned, even as our fathers did; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
God forever is full of love and righteousness. All of mankind have sinned against God by doing wrong and acting wickedly. God has chosen to save all who will come to him in repentance and to do what is right and just. Then we can rejoice in our inheritance as God’s elect by proclaiming the mighty acts of love and faithfulness God has shown throughout all generations. As we prepare for Christ’s return, let us all remember to proclaim the love of God to all we meet. Praise the Lord!
Father thank you for your love that endures forever to all people. We praise you holy name for your Holy Spirit at work in our lives that we can maintain justice and do what is right. We rejoice knowing that through Christ be can be his righteousness and inherit eternal life with you. Fill us with the joy of our salvation that we might be your hands and feet filled with your love to share with others. We ask in Jesus’ name, amen.
