New Sunday Class Starting

The Absolute Basics of the Christian Faith class is really for anybody at any particular point in his or her understanding of God. It is for anyone who desires to dust off his or her theological knowledge and discover why it really matters. It’s a way of going back and intentionally studying and learning the deep truths that the church has always proclaimed from the very beginning.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn in a smaller group setting, allowing for faith connection with new Christian friends. You will be increasing your own understanding of God and also have an answer for someone else that may be asking questions about God.
A book may be purchased to enhance the learning experience. The class is video illustrated and will be facilitated by Mr. Jim Nelson and Rev. Sherry Judy. A nursery along with children’s Sunday school classes are provided.
New Beginning Adult Sunday School Class
Sundays 10:00 AM to11:00 AM.
We have completed our studies on Mathew, Galatians, Ephesians and Philippians. We are now starting our class study on Paul’s letter to the Colossians, again written during his imprisonment at Rome. Colossians will help us to know Christ as the first born of all creation.
This week will be a great opportunity to start the New Year in our study of God’s Word together. Please come join us–our class is now taught by Bobby with Marie assisting. Our class is located in the Education Hall next to the church office. Hope to see you Sunday at 10:00 A.M. Come earlier if you want ot enjoy breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.
The First Adult Sunday School Class
Sundays 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
The First Adult Sunday school class has been around a long time. Rumor has it, Noah attended before the flood.
Each week we learn a lot and we laugh a lot and we share a lot. The First Adult Sunday school class unites generations of families who work hard and pray even harder.
Currently are studying the book of 1st Peter. Each week we discuss a new chapter. We pace ourselves as we gain a much better understanding of God’s word. Then we pray about what we’ve learned and do our best to apply it to our lives. Each day that we live we should be moving our lives closer to the Lord.
The class takes place in a very relaxed setting. Input is welcomed and encouraged from all who attend. Our class is a wonderful opportunity for Christian fellowship. We’re in the large room at the end of the hall. Get there early because the room can fill up quickly.
