Camp Meeting 2019 is here !!

 

 

 

Camp Meeting Time!  That’s right!  Camp Meeting at New Prospect Campground on Campground road off of Hwy 57 in Vancleave is here.

Every October the Campground fills with folks from all around to experience the amazing spiritual blessing of 9 days of Great Worship!  October 12 th through the 20 th will be the dates of great Gospel Singing and Worship and fellowship that has been happening here for 144 years!

Camp Meeting 2019 will “kick-off” with the gospel sing Saturday, October 12th at 7:00 p.m. featuring “BIG BLESSIN”. Keeping with tradition, Mt. Pleasant and Red Hill UM Churches will hold their morning services on Sunday, October 13th at the Campground and invite you to worship with them. Sunday School will begin at 10:00 a.m. and Worship at 11:00 a.m.   Also, on the 13th the Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. with guest minister Rev. Robbie Murden delivering the message

The 2019 Evangelistic Team will begin their time of service on Monday, October 14th

Eddie Kirby – Evangelist, Steve Russell – Pianist, Michael Hedgepeth –  Music, Kris Rouse and Sherry Judy/Bobby Morris – Youth and Children.  As you know, Camp Meeting is a time for REVIVAL and RENEWAL  where many opportunities for WORSHIP are offered. Here’s the schedule:

Morning Prayer Meeting in Tabernacle (begins Tuesday, Oct. 15th  – 8:00 a.m. Come start your morning in God’s Word!)

Morning Worship in Tabernacle (begins Tuesday, October 15th – 11:00 a.m. Children Activities in Youth Tent (Begin Monday, October 14th – 4:00 p.m.)

 Lady’s Prayer Meeting in Tabernacle (begins Monday, October 14th– 4:30 p.m.)

Men’s Prayer Meeting in the Grove (begins Monday, October 14th–  5:00 p.m.)

Nightly Gospel Singing (begins Monday, October 14th – 6:30 p.m.)

Evening Worship in Tabernacle (begins Monday, October 14th– 7:30 p.m.)

Youth Activities in Youth Tent (begin Monday, October 14th– after worship)
