The United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women’s purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Monthly meetings are planned to support various mission projects and provide an uplifting program. Brunch and fellowship follow.
The meetings are the third Monday of every month at 10:00 AM at Mount Pleasant UMC

The 2016 United Methodist Book of Discipline charges the General Commission on United Methodist Men with the “primary oversight for the coordination and resourcing of men’s ministry with The United Methodist Church.” (paragraph 2302)

June Mens Club Meeting
This month our guest speaker was our Rev. Mary Stewart. She spoke about time of service at Vancleave UMC and MT. Pleasant.She also told us about her new appointment in the delta.
September Men’s Club Speaker Was Carl Wyatt
Carl talked about his niece, Angela Wyatt who is a missionary teacher in Guatemala at a children’s school.
